王明旭医学激光双博士简介:

好莱坞华人故事得奖大片“Sight”的原型王明旭是美国哈佛医学院和麻省理工学院联合医学博士及特级优等生, 激光物理博士, 美国FDA眼科审查委员会前委员(华人历史上第一位), 世界最大的眼科集团爱尔眼科医院美国分部的CEO, 美国迈哈里医学院临床教授以及王明旭视力复明基金会创始人. 王博士撰写了10本英文原著眼科教科书 (7本翻译成了中文). 他发明了羊膜隐型眼镜并donated其专利,至今已被全世界几乎所有国家上万名眼科医生运用,几百万病人得到复明),完成了世界第一例激光人工角膜手术,并发表了120多篇学术论文(其中包括以第一作者发表在国际最有权威的自然杂志上). 王博士做了5万5千多例激光眼科手术 (其中包括4千多个医生),他的病人来自于美国40几个州以及全世界55个国家. 王博士获得了美国眼科协会成就奖以及美国华人医学会终身成就奖.
