Listen to the choir, under the direction of Robin Estrada, perform a program of Filipino classics from throughout the years, with a few American pop surprises blended in!

Robin Estrada is a well known choral director and composer in the Bay Area, and ranks among the top talents in Philippine composition today, whose works are performed throughout the world.

The Bayanihan Equity Center Choir is part of the Neighborhood Choir Program for Older Adults and Adults with Disabilities, which is a collaboration between The Community Music Center and 15 Neighborhood and Senior Centers throughout the city. The tuition free program is primarily  supported by the San Francisco Department of Disability and Aging Services (DAS).

The Community Music Center, a 103-year-old non-profit institution, makes high quality music education accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, regardless of financial means. With a newly expanded campus in the Mission, and also in the Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco, CMC students come from every neighborhood to learn and make beautiful music!

Connect to engaging discussions and performances related to the Filipino American community.

Summer Stride is the Library's annual summer learning, reading and exploration program for all ages and abilities. Read and learn with the Library all summer long.

This program is sponsored by Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.
