Explore your family's past and learn how to share it with the children in your family. In this workshop you will learn about activities you can do at home with your children that will make family history fun and engaging, such as photo sharing, interviewing and talking about family traditions. We will also explore some library and community resources for genealogical research.

Speaker bio: Marisa Louie Lee is a family history researcher specializing in Chinese American and 20th century immigration research. She has presented locally for the California Genealogical Society, the National Japanese American Historical Society, the Bay Area Chinese Genealogy Group, and the Oakland Family History Center. Marisa enjoys exploring family history with her two young children, whose stories span 150 years in California.
