The Excelsior Branch Book Club will select and discuss titles in an enjoyable and engaging environment. The book club meets every fourth Tuesday of each month. New member drop-ins are welcome.  

The September read is Knife, Meditations After An Attempted Murder by Rushdie, Salman.

Author writes about the aftermath of the assassination attempt on August 12, 2022.

Attending Programs

All programs are drop-in (no registration necessary) unless otherwise noted. All SFPL locations are wheelchair accessible. For accommodations (such as ASL), call (415) 557-4557 or contact accessibility@sfpl.org. Requesting at least 3 business days in advance will help ensure availability.
