Meet and greet children's writer, Joy Jones, author of Jayla Jumps In. Jayla is an eleven-year-old discovering her mother's hidden talent: Double Dutch. Jayla decides to follow in her mom's footsteps and finds that Double Dutch is about a lot more than jumping rope-and it just might change her life in ways she never imagined. Jones will engage participants in creative play and read aloud from her book. 

Enjoy a double-dutch presentation and learn how to jump with non-profit, Jump Thru It. Jump Thru It empowers youth through double-dutch, promoting healthy movement and positive voices in the community.
