In celebration of the 25th anniversary of his debut novel PINS, local author Jim Provenzano will join fellow author Mark Abramson for a conversation about writing and their experiences with independent presses and self-publishing.  Program will conclude with Q&A, and Provenzano  will give away signed copies of PINS.   

Longtime San Francisco resident, author Mark Abramson has published more than a dozen fiction and nonfiction titles. In addition to the Beach Reading series, Abramson has also written a series of memoirs including Sex, Drugs & Disco

Jim Provenzano is the author of several novels, including Finding Tulsa, Now I’m Here, and Lambda Literary Award-winner Every Time I Think of You. A journalist, editor, and photographer in LGBT media for three decades, he lives in San Francisco and is the Arts & Nightlife Editor with the Bay Area Reporter
