Cookbook author and former MasterChef contestant, Hetal Vasavada, will discuss her new cookbook, Desi Bakes: 85 Recipes Bringing the Best of Indian Flavors to Western-Style Desserts, and leads a live cook-along with the audience.
Vasavada’s latest work features creative decorating tips and recipes tailored for gluten-free, egg-free, and vegan diets, ideal for crafting beautiful mithai and sweets for special occasions. Delight in her recipes, such as Saffron Madeleines, Masala Chai Semifreddo, and Kesar Pista Cream Puffs, and discover traditional Indian flavors with a contemporary twist.
We'll be making Lemon Coriander Snickerdoodles. To cook alongside Vasavada, gather these ingredients (to make 24 large cookies).
