Join Tempest Cooper, a Black Deaf entrepreneur, social worker, wife and proud mother to a baby boy, as she shares her inspiring story. Cooper will explore the history of Black American Sign Language (BASL), teach attendees essential BASL signs, and spotlight accomplished Black Deaf leaders. Her motivational talk celebrates resilience, representation, and the power of entrepreneurship.
