Create Rangoli in celebration of Diwali, the Hindu festival of light, using colored paper, jewels and sequins.  Rangoli are a form of pattern art traditionally created with colored sand, flour, petals or rice to represent the happiness, positivity and liveliness of a household.

Find inspiration through craft programs featuring talented artists, makers and even your local librarians. For craft programs, all materials are provided, unless noted.

This program honors the diverse cultures, traditions and histories of Southwest Asian and North African heritage.
