Learn to use music software and hardware to create songs. Using Apple's Logic Pro or Spotify's Soundtrap software, teens will learn to create beats, make loops, use samples, edit audio files and record live vocals and instruments. Repeat attendees can receive a free Soundtrap account (while supplies last) to continue making music at home.

To access the recording studio on their own, teens must complete a Recording Studio Orientation and at least one Recording and Songwriting workshop. The Recording Studio Orientation needs to be taken only once. The Recording and Songwriting workshop may be repeated as needed to gain additional skills or get assistance with ongoing projects. These workshops always occur consecutively. For ages 12–18.

If you have questions or are unable to make this scheduled time, email Eric Hannan to request a possible alternative.
