We will discuss Maya Angelous powerful memoir, I know Why the Caged Bird Sings.

Maya Angelou's I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings is a pivotal and powerful memoir that traces her early years as an African American girl growing up in the segregated South. Through vivid and unforgettable moments, Angelou navigates the pain of racism, sexual abuse and displacement, while also celebrating resilience, faith and the small triumphs of everyday life. This seminal work explores identity, empowerment and the unyielding quest for dignity, making it as relevant today as when it was first published in 1969.
