11:00 - 1:00
We'll be pausing Emilio Fernández's crime musical drama, Victims of Sin, to draw striking frames. This gem of Golden Era Mexican cinema will provide lots of dramatic black and white frames and dancing imagery to ignite the creative imagination.
Basic materials (pencils, paper, erasers) will be provided. You may bring your own materials, but please no fume-creating paint or paint pens. Watercolor, ink and gouache are fine.
This is a self-led event; there will be no instruction or feedback. However, there will be an opportunity at the end of the session to look at others' drawings and show your own.
NR, 84 mins., 1951. Subtitles and Closed Captions (CC) in English. Due to pauses for drawing, the full film will not be shown.
Creative Arts
Exercise your power of imagination with programs that encourage hands-on projects for adults. For craft programs, all materials are provided, unless noted.
