Poets convene and read to observe United Nations World Water Day. 

World Water Day celebrates water and raises awareness of the 2.2 billion people living without access to safe water. It is about taking action to tackle the global water crisis. This year's theme is "Glacier Preservation."

Hosted by John Curl and Karen Melander-Magoon; featuring local poets.

Environment & Nature

Find out about the latest climate and environmental issues, how to adopt greener practices and how to connect with the outdoors.

Poetry

Programs designed to celebrate the art of the poem, including readings and talks.

Performance

Events featuring theater, music, art and dance.

This program is sponsored by Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.

Attending Programs
