Discover the basics of garment repair, including threading a needle, attaching buttons, sewing on patches, and reinforcing weak areas of clothing. Bring your own item to mend or practice on a sampler—materials provided. Together, we'll practice mending techniques that help minimize waste and maximize style! No prior experience necessary.

Audrey Danser is the owner of Salvage Studio, a zero-waste denim and garment repair business mending hole-y, ripped and torn textiles. Founded in 2021, she has repaired thousands of vintage and modern pieces for folks in the Bay Area and across the country. She also teaches mending workshops and repair happy hours for corporations, brands and the public.
