Enjoy readings from Shizue Seigel’s poetry collection "Courting A Man Who Doesn’t Talk” (wry and tender field notes about love across difference) followed by open mic that includes contributors to Write Now! SF Bay’s anthologies of Bay Area writers and artist of color.

Shizue Seigel, director of Write Now! SF Bay, has supported 400+ writers and artists of color through workshops, events and publications since 2015. As a 3rd-generation Japanese American, she treasures the rich cultural and social legacy of the Fillmore, Japantown and the Bay Area.
