Learn and practice basic crocheting techniques in a supportive environment. Participants can use the materials provided or bring their own crochet project. Materials provided by Museum of Craft & Design (MCD), in celebration of MCD's former exhibit, Rug Life.  For ages 10–18. Space limited. Seats available first come, first served.

Find inspiration through craft programs featuring talented artists, makers and even your local librarians. For craft programs, all materials are provided, unless noted.

Science

Gain a new perspective on and understanding of the world through programs on the sciences.

Summer Stride

Summer Stride is the Library's annual summer learning, reading and exploration program for all ages and abilities. Read and learn with the Library all summer long.

This program is sponsored by Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.

Attending Programs
