Join us for a free public workshop focused on reducing waste and protecting our environment through simple, everyday actions. This interactive session will guide attendees through Recology’s three-bin system—recycle, compost, and landfill—to ensure proper sorting and reduce contamination. You’ll also learn practical food waste prevention tips to save money and resources in your own kitchen.

Did you know that over 30% of all food produced globally is wasted each year? In the U.S. alone, that’s about $161 billion worth of food thrown away annually. By making small changes in how we shop, store, and eat food, we can make a big impact.

Come ready to learn, ask questions, and take home tools to help you live more sustainably!

Space limited. Registration required: 415-355-2848. (Starting June 1st).
