This experience offers a chance to slow down, reflect, and build something beautiful—both in our hands and in our hearts. As hands move with intention, the quiet act of threading beads becomes a meditative practice, sparking gentle conversation and shared stories rooted in culture and community.
Ylonda Calloway is a master beader who will lead this Afrocentric healing circle designed to nourish the spirit and strengthen community ties.
Toni Hines, an SFPL Community Ambassador, will give a library resource presentation.
Light refreshments will be provided.
