Explore Digital Tools for Climate Action. Discover how to access and navigate trusted websites and free apps that help you stay informed and take small steps toward a healthier planet. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to use tools like Climate.gov, the SF Department of the Environment, and air quality or carbon footprint apps such as AirVisual and Earth Hero.

Build your digital skills—like web searching, evaluating sources, downloading apps, and protecting your privacy—while exploring real-world climate solutions that matter to you and your community.

Participants should be comfortable using a mouse and keyboard. Desktop computers will be available in the computer training center, and you’re welcome to bring your own device. If you'd like to download apps during the workshop, please come prepared with any login information you need for your app store (e.g., Apple ID or Google Play credentials).

This event is part of Everybody’s Climate 2025: Connect with others to address the climate crisis in ways that are meaningful to you, from poetry and music to science and practical action. See full listing of events here.
