Learn about Tibetan Buddhist chanting, music and art with Lama Tashi Norbu who will also offer a dharma talk. For ages 13 and older.
Lama Tashi Norbu has his roots in traditional Tibetan art, having studied in his youth in the monasteries. Having the privilege of studying abroad in Europe, he developed into a versatile contemporary artist. After decades of dedication, he is now a master of his craft, marrying the fundamentals of his background in Tibetan Buddhism with his strong influences from western art schools. He performs traditional Tibetan Buddhist ceremonies such as the Sand Mandala, and while he chants Tibetan Buddhist mantras, he paints live, in front of his supporters, accompanied by both Tibetan and Western instrumentals.
