Learn to express yourself while learning basic art techniques with teaching artists and fellows from Root Division, a local visual arts non-profit. Create a zine through collage, illustration, and paper folding. Learn about the history of zines and how these handmade paper booklets can be a way to share your voice and story with the world.

Find inspiration through craft programs featuring talented artists, makers and even your local librarians. For craft programs, all materials are provided, unless noted.

Summer Stride

Summer Stride is the Library's annual summer learning, reading and exploration program for all ages and abilities. Read and learn with the Library all summer long.

This program is sponsored by Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.

Attending Programs
