Receive a walking tour of edible plants at Hawk Creek Farm (203 Cotter Street, San Francisco, CA 94112), an educational urban farm located on unceded territory of the Ramaytush Ohlone people providing programs for adults, students and families to develop skills, understanding and love for land stewardship. 

 

4:00 p.m. - Gather and walk from the Excelsior Branch, with and Excelsior Branch librarian

4:10 p.m. - Plants to Smell and Taste: A walking tour of edible plants with farm educator Sasha Pullman. This class will involve a hands-on activity for children, families and caregivers as well as a tour of the farm. Each participant will have an opportunity to smell, taste and harvest the plants and herbs grown in the summer at Hawk Creek Farm.
