From the majesty of the Rocky Mountains and the magnificence of the Grand Canyon, to the beauty of Huangshan and the vastness of the Yangtze River, these iconic world-class natural formations carry forth the pride of nations and the imprimatur of civilization itself.

Intercultural exchange takes shape among Chinese and American artists - each side drawing upon rich artistic and intellectual traditions of their own right. By painting en plein air and immersive studies of the land itself, such traditions come alive as they are expressed in full.

The first exhibition launches in San Francisco. The second shall be held in Nanjing the following year.

Perspectives are simultaneously deeply personal and private, whilst stoking and evoking the spirit of the landscapes that store human history. Please join us for an exploration and exaltation that Bridges the Boundless.
Organizers: Jiangsu Chinese Painting Society, Chinese Painting Society (USA)
Co-organizers: China Xuan Paper Co., Ltd., Source Contemporary Art Museum, American Calendula Art Center, Temple University School of Fine Arts, Western Academy of Fine Arts, Northern California Academy of Painting, Sino-American Art Alliance。
