Remember loved ones who have passed by creating a miniature altar (ofrenda) with colorful paper and other materials. This program offers multiple design options for accessibility to younger children, older children and adults. For ages 6 and older. Space limited. Reservations required: (415) 355-2822 (starting October 1).

Connect to engaging discussions and performances related to the Latinx community.

¡VIVA! at the Library is a celebration of Latinx heritage, cultures and traditions. San Francisco has a rich Latinx heritage that is highlighted in a diverse array of exciting programs for all ages, from Spanish/bilingual storytimes to cooking classes, author talks to art and cultural presentations.

Make + Do

Find inspiration through craft programs featuring talented artists, makers and even your local librarians. For craft programs, all materials are provided, unless noted.
