Bring characters to life in this interactive workshop on character design for comics, animation and gaming. Explore how artists develop characters through fan art, figure drawing and collaborative processes. See how character design shapes the worlds of film, games and animation. Then, put pencil to paper as we practice drawing your own characters using tips and techniques you can continue at home. All skill levels welcome. For ages 10–18.

¡VIVA! at the Library is a celebration of Latinx heritage, cultures and traditions. San Francisco has a rich Latinx heritage that is highlighted in a diverse array of exciting programs for all ages, from Spanish/bilingual storytimes to cooking classes, author talks to art and cultural presentations.
