Author, restaurateur and TV personality Kathy Fang will present her new book, House of Nanking: Family Recipes from San Francisco's Favorite Chinese Restaurant. Written by Kathy and her father Peter Fang, the founder of the legendary San Francisco restaurant, the cookbook honors the restaurant's rich history, shares many of its famous recipes, and lovingly recounts the Fang’s deep-rooted passion for serving authentic Shanghainese home cooking. Kathy will be in conversation with KRON4 TV journalist Stephanie Lin.

Book sales and signing will follow the event.
