Explore the similarities and differences between memoir and autobiography—two approaches to life writing, each with its own scope, focus, and purpose. In this two-hour workshop, you’ll experiment with methods from both, using SFPL's 2025 One City One Book selection, The Worlds I See by Fei-Fei Li, as our shared text. Whether or not you've read the book in advance or written stories from your life before, you’ll leave with new strategies for crafting your narrative. The December Write Your World series will feature multiple workshops at different branches, each offering a unique technique for shaping personal stories. Attend one or experience them all.

Space limited. Reservations required: 415-355-5626.
