Learn about recent changes to federal tax legislation and how they may affect individuals, households and business owners. Jason Matthews will break down key provisions in a clear, accessible way and explore potential impacts related to retirement income and savings, investments and tax planning, estate and legacy considerations and small business tax implications. Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of the current landscape and be better prepared to ask informed questions, consider next steps for their personal finances and businesses and make confident planning decisions.

Jason Matthews, CLTC®, TPCP® is President & CEO of Matthews Financial & Insurance Solutions and founder of Gibson Monroe Wealth Advisors. An Oakland native, he has worked in financial services since 2004, specializing in tax planning and retirement income strategies for individuals, business owners and those navigating major life transitions. His firm has been recognized by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the Bay Area’s top Black-owned businesses. 

A partnership between the San Francisco African American Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business and African American Centers of the San Francisco Public Library.
