Learn the basics of product photography using your phone and materials in your home or work space. Professional product photographer Lucas Saugen will give a presentation walking you through set-up and approaches to product photography, then demonstrate photography techniques and problem-solving on several products brought by the audience. Please bring your product (small/portable products only, please) for potential use in the demonstration.

Lucas Saugen is a creative commercial advertising product and product lifestyle photographer specializing in tech, med tech, electronics and apparel. He thrives when confronted with tough to solve problems – from lighting to propping and set up – and has been known to build a rig or two to get a precise angle. He works collaboratively with clients, agencies, stylists and art directors to elevate product and show it in natural context. He lives in San Francisco with his family and their rescued Dogue de Bordeaux, Agent Butterscotch.
