This beginner-friendly workshop will demystify the world of Bitcoin, blockchain technology and digital currencies with a clear, jargon-free explanation of cryptocurrency basics.  We'll also explore the technology behind them, practical considerations for security and safety, and the potential opportunities and risks involved. By the end of this workshop, you'll have a solid understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape and the confidence to continue learning about this evolving aspect of our digital economy.

Presented by Martin Guerrero who is the Director of Business Empowerment at Block, Inc, he is a member of the Global External Affairs and Social Responsibility team where he heads up educational programming and partnerships in support of our customers across the globe.  The core mission of his role is increasing access to the global economy.
