Come enjoy a whimsical puppet demonstration, performed by theatre artist Vinh G. Nguyen of Carefree Puppetry. Watch as a colorful menageries of animals made from recycled materials come to life with playful movement and inspiring music. Audiences are invited come meet the puppets up close for a post-show interactive experience.
About the Artist:
Vinh G. Nguyen is a theatre maker and puppet artist based in New York City. He was featured in the San Francisco Opera’s “The Monkey King: The Art of Puppetry” Community Day at the Asian Art Museum. Vinh took part in the Green Feather Foundation’s “Fish Migration Puppet Parade” at the Lincoln Center. His pop-up puppet performances have been seen at puppet slams, open mics, and schools. Vinh is the playwright of Tales of Ancient Vietnam, a play with folktales, music, and puppetry. Instagram: @CarefreePuppetry
