The Potrero Hill Artists' Exhibition is said to be the longest running annual art show in San Francisco. It was organized by the late Charles Farr and a group of neighborhood artists in 1955 to prevent the branch from imminent closure. Continuing their legacy and vision, Potrero Branch staff are elated to host for the 65th time in honor of our annual Open House. The night opens with an hour of live music by Latin fusion trio Makrú. Throughout the event, enjoy light refreshments, arts and crafts for all ages, and the opportunity to meet the local artists while taking in the branch's beautiful view of downtown San Francisco. The exhibition will be on view May 9 – August 28.
