Get ready for the 2026 primaries at the library. This program, offered in partnership with the California State Library, highlights key information to help voters prepare for the upcoming election. CalMatters CEO Neil Chase and guests will discuss major issues expected to shape the 2026 primary cycle and the decisions facing California voters. 

Participants will gain a clearer understanding of significant questions likely to appear on the ballot and the context behind them, with insights from experts who closely follow statewide developments. The discussion will touch on policy topics, emerging voter concerns, and broader trends influencing California’s political landscape. 

Whether someone is a firsttime voter or simply looking to stay informed, this session provides accessible information to support thoughtful engagement in California’s democratic process.
