Decorate a fingerboard (miniature skateboard) to take home using acrylic paint pens, permanent markers, stencils, and stickers. Bring your own skateboard if you want to personalize it.

For ages 10 and older.

 

And while you are visiting Western Addition Branch Library, check out selections from "Skateboarding San Francisco: Concrete, Community, Continuity," an exhibit previously shown at the Main Library. Photographs on display capture the culture of skateboarding in San Francisco from the 1970s to the present.
