Hear award-winning journalist Dion Lim discuss her book Amplify! My Fight for Asian America. . Drawing on personal experiences, interviews with survivors, activists and historians, and historical context, Lim explores one of the most significant social and political issues of our time from an AAPI perspective. Dion Lim is a two-time Emmy Award–winning TV news anchor and reporter for ABC7 News in San Francisco. She is also a contributor to ABC News Live, Good Morning America and World News Tonight, and has hosted the national programs America This Morning and World News Now. Lim was named to the 2022 Gold House A100 Most Impactful Asian Americans and is the recipient of SFCAUSE’s inaugural Champion of Truth Award. She is the author of Amplify! My Fight for Asian America and Make Your Moment.


Programs and workshops, book recommendations and more relating to the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) heritage.

Weaving Stories is the Library's celebration of the many diverse histories and cultures from AANHPI communities.
