Read in Nature this summer with the bookmobile. Bring a book of your choice or borrow one from the bookmobile to read silently as a group. Silent reading is followed by a casual discussion about what everyone is reading. 

A limited number of chairs will be provided, but we encourage you to bring your own blanket or lawn chair. 

This is an outdoor program. In the event of rain, the program will be canceled.  

Read in Nature meets once a month, from June through September.

Attending Programs

All programs are drop-in (no registration necessary) unless otherwise noted. All SFPL locations are wheelchair accessible. For accommodations (such as ASL), call (415) 557-4557 or contact accessibility@sfpl.org. Requesting at least 3 business days in advance will help ensure availability.

This program will be conducted in English unless otherwise noted.
