Fun summer Mandarin classes for all ages! Children, teens, parents, and grandparents learn together through basic vocabulary, everyday phrases, simple conversations, and hands‑on cultural activities. A great way for families to connect and explore language at the library. 

The weekly Mandarin lessons, which started June 22, continue on five more Mondays, July - August: 7/13, 7/20, 7/27, 8/3 and 8/10.

Intergenerational: Ages 5+, 3:30p.m.-5:30p.m.

Space limited. Required reservations: (415) 355-2822 or sign-up at the reference desk.

Attending Programs

All programs are drop-in (no registration necessary) unless otherwise noted. All SFPL locations are wheelchair accessible. For accommodations (such as ASL), call (415) 557-4557 or contact accessibility@sfpl.org. Requesting at least 3 business days in advance will help ensure availability.
