美中文化促進會將於 7月19日(星期日) 在 三藩市總圖書館 舉辦一場專題講座,主題為 「中西文化下美國華人家庭面對的挑戰」。

講座邀請專家學者,從多個角度探討華人家庭在美國社會中的現實處境,包括 教育觀念、移民父母與土生子女的相處關係、種族身份與國家認同、生活價值觀差異,以及婚姻與家庭觀念的變化 等議題,並與現場觀眾交流討論。

活動除專題演講外,現場亦將設有 社區服務機構資訊攤位,為參與者提供相關資源與服務介紹。講座分為 上下兩場進行,中場設有簡便茶點休息時間,歡迎社區人士踴躍參加。



The U.S.-China Cultural Exchange Consortium will host a special seminar on July 19 at the San Francisco Main Library titled “Challenges Facing Chinese American Families in the Context of Eastern and Western Cultures.”

Expert speakers will explore a range of topics affecting Chinese American families, including educational expectations, relationships between immigrant parents and American-born children, racial identity and national belonging, differences in worldviews and lifestyles, and changing perspectives on marriage and family. The seminar will also include interactive discussion with the audience.

In addition to the keynote presentations, community service organizations will host information booths to share resources and services. The program will be conducted in two sessions with a short intermission and light refreshments in between. Community members are warmly invited to attend.
