Read and discuss books at Sol Botanica. Bring your current read, grab some food and drink and connect with fellow book lovers. 

At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. All readers are welcome—ebooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books... it's BYOBook. Friends and strangers gather at a set time and location, order food or drinks and settle in for an hour or so of sustained silent reading. At the end of the hour, attendees can share what they're reading and socialize—or not!

Sol Botanica is inside The Market at 1355 Market St.

Attending Programs

All programs are drop-in (no registration necessary) unless otherwise noted. All SFPL locations are wheelchair accessible. For accommodations (such as ASL), call (415) 557-4557 or contact accessibility@sfpl.org. Requesting at least 3 business days in advance will help ensure availability.
