Come play with paper and get creative with collage. We will explore the art of collage using vintage images for inspiration to transform the mundane into something unique. Collage is all about being playful and exploring creative ideas, and the simple exercise of arranging can be such a fun and meditative process. No experience is necessary and all are welcome to come cut, tear, and create. All materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring any of your own supplies to use or share, such as old magazines or colorful paper. Led by Joy North from Craft Joy Studio.
Joy North is the founder of Craft Joy Studio and leads workshops centered on creative play and accessible art-making. Her programs use simple materials and prompts to encourage exploration and reduce barriers, welcoming both beginners and experienced artists to focus on the creative process rather than the end product. Space limited. Reservations required: (415) 355-2880.
