Learn about the history of Palestinian Tatreez, pre- and post-1948 and participate in a hands-on tatreez stitching tutorial with Amanne Sharif.

Amanne co-hosts the popular podcast Tatreez Talk and co-founded The Tatreez Retreat. Locally in the San Francisco Bay Area she organizes free monthly community Tatreez circles for Palestinian and non-Palestinian allies through the SF Bay Area Tatreez Circle. Amanne also offers virtual and in-person Tatreez workshops, with previous clients including LinkedIn, Google, Stanford University, Pixar and the San Francisco Arts Commission. Committed to community engagement, she strives to preserve and celebrate Tatreez's rich heritage for future generations.

Summer Stride is the Library's annual summer learning, reading and exploration program for all ages and abilities. Read and learn with the Library all summer long.
