Make Korean kimchi with friends, family and neighbors while building community. Step into Korean food culture through kimjang — the tradition where Korean families gather in late fall to make kimchi from the cabbage harvest. Together we chop napa cabbage, mix a tasty kimchi sauce and pack containers bubbling with life for each family to take home. Inspired by Lee's new children's book, Kimchi Taco Time. For ages 6 and older and their caregiver. Youth under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Space limited. Reservations required: (415) 355-5770 or at the Information Desk (starting Sept 8).
