Protect yourself with StopScams SF, a Treasurer’s Office initiative offering workshops that help you spot scams, learn real tactics and share experiences to strengthen the city’s response. Launched to safeguard San Franciscans—especially seniors, immigrants and young people—StopScams SF provides sessions where you can learn about common scams, hear real examples and share your insights to help the city build better anti-scam resources.

Attending Programs

All programs are drop-in (no registration necessary) unless otherwise noted. All SFPL locations are wheelchair accessible. For accommodations (such as ASL), call (415) 557-4557 or contact accessibility@sfpl.org. Requesting at least 3 business days in advance will help ensure availability.
