Join Chef Olivia Melcalco, chef/owner of Mi Comedor Catering, for a fun and flavorful hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to prepare authentic, traditional Mexican tamales.
Mi Comedor means “my dining room” in Spanish - a warm invitation from Chef Olivia to gather, cook, and savor together.
In this interactive participants will prepare classic corn tamales filled with chicken, served with fresh salsa verde. Along the way, you’ll learn traditional techniques, tips, and cultural context - and of course, enjoy tasting your creations.
Come ready to chop, mix, wrap and enjoy a delicious introduction to the heart of Mexican cooking!
