Transform everyday film plastics into durable, leather-like sheets using heat and pressure. Learn how to fuse materials such as newspaper delivery bags and soft plastic packaging into reusable textiles that can be cut, sewn, and shaped like fabric. Tara de la Garza of Inventurous demonstrates the process and shares creative ways to repurpose plastic waste into functional projects.

Inventurous is a community-based organization that transforms locally sourced plastic waste into useful, high-value products. By engaging community members in collecting, sorting, and processing discarded plastics, Inventurous demonstrates practical approaches to reducing waste through creative reuse.
