Learn what it takes to write, direct and perform 100 SHOWS A YEAR as a small group of artists who also RUN THE BUSINESS together. It’s not a sitcom, it’s The San Francisco Neo-Futurists. They put on the Infinite Wrench, the show the SF Chronicle calls one of "22 San Francisco things everyone must do!"

They’ll pull back the curtain on how they operate as a non-hierarchical consensus-based collective to organize performance space, run committees, budget and raise funds and ultimately put on a show every week. They’ll also cover their process for writing new material for a new cast of performers to put on a different show every Friday and Saturday night.

The SF Neos are a collective of wildly prolific artists dedicated to the perpetual creation of experimental theatre that is immediate, ephemeral, accessible and cheap. They believe the stage is an extension of daily life: they perform as themselves in a non-illusory, interactive style that challenges the audience to create alongside them as active participants with a voice of their own. They respect and uplift each other on and off stage through non-hierarchical accountability, collective decision-making and anti-oppression practice of all kinds.
