Here we go - the Bay Beats Rap show! Three top Bay Beats rappers bring all they got to the Main Library, sharpening words into a wake-up call about life in the Bay and beyond:

1 p.m. - Philip Bank$ - @phildeeznuts, an Oakland rapper who delivers keen insights and visceral descriptions about his hometown with swagger and emotion. Even the hooks carry bars that hit harder than most emcee's verses.

2 p.m. - Family Not A Group; Consisting of 17 members, FNG is a dynamic and diverse San Francisco-based artist collective that encompasses the spirit of community, love, and creative expression.

3 p.m. - Lil MC - a Latina powerhouse in the music industry, LiL MC embodies the spirit of hip hop with her dynamic delivery, sassy wit, and bilingual flow. She has shared stages with legends like Jacquees, Too Short and E-40, and is among the mere 3% of women music producers globally, significantly contributing to the diversification of the music industry.

This show is presented by Bay Beats, in partnership with White Crate.
