My Favorite Book

Mark Twain loved Sir Thomas Malory’s books on King Arthur. Amy Tan’s favorite piece of Chinese literature is Jing Ping Mei (The Plum in the Golden Vase). It’s always fascinating to find out a popular writer’s favorite books -- that’s why the San Francisco Public Library and the GrottoPod: Writers on Writing podcast are teaming up to present “My Favorite Book,” a live podcast series that invites notable local authors to discuss the books that made an indelible impact on their lives. Join GrottoPod hosts Bridget Quinn and Larry Rosen, who record the weekly podcast for the San Francisco Writers’ Grotto, as they interview Bay Area writers on the books they’ve loved most.

This is a Reading, Writing & Poetry program from SFPL. We love reading/sharing/creating words.
