Collapsing of the Axes

Event detail

Collage Art by Molly Hankwitz, David Cox, and Bivoulab contributors.

In times of social and political resignation towards impending global catastrophe, rise of dark minds, and dubious futures, it is our sense that artistic dedication to the compilation of and generosity towards even the most trifling detail might be the most intelligent mechanism of art. "Collapsing of the Axes" is an exhibition of small works made from found machine parts, toy bits, pieces of wood and paper forming "dadalike" collage. They are re-fashioned, re-purposed detritus from the street and come with artfully redecorated carry bags.

Meet the artists at a reception at 3:00 pm on November 18 in the Sycip Room on the 4th floor of the Main Library.
