Hoopla Digital Apple TV Instructions

Hoopla Digital account

If you do not already have a Hoopla Digital account go to www.hoopladigital.com/  to register. You will need to provide an email address, create a password, and have your 14-digit San Francisco Public Library card
number ready. (Enter the number with no spaces.)

Getting Started

Install the hoopla Digital Apple TV app.
-Go to the Apple TV App Store and search for the free hoopla Digital app.
-Click to install the app.

What will happen to the RBdigital magazine service?

At the end of February 2021, RBdigital will be shutting down its digital magazine service.

Will RBdigital titles be available elsewhere?

Yes! We will be adding most titles from RBdigital (e.g. New Yorker, Newsweek) to the Flipster  digital magazine service. You'll also find hundreds of magazines from all around the world at PressReader .

For a selection of Asian-language magazines, please use Kono Digital  (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) or Qikan (Chinese).

How do I get my ebook or eaudiobook?

Here's how you can quickly get your ebook or eaudiobook title.

Step 1: Determine where you borrowed your digital title(s).

We offer access to three major digital services — OverDrive , Axis 360 , and Hoopla Digital .

Step 2: Sign in to that digital service's website or mobile app with your 14-digit card number and PIN/password.

If you have forgotten your PIN/password, reset it here: https://sflib1.sfpl.org/pinreset. For Hoopla Digital, sign in with your email address and password.

Printing, Copying, Scanning, and Faxing at the Library

*Print/copy/scan/fax are not available on SFPL Bookmobiles 

Library card holders are eligible for $2 of free copying/printing per patron per day. Use your library card number to log into library computers or when sending mobile print jobs for free printing.

At the Library

Printing, copying, scanning and faxing stations are available at every library location.  Print jobs can be sent from a public computer in the library or from offsite (See Print from Home / Mobile printing, below).
